Like most of us girls, I was taught to knit by my lovely Mum.
I vividly remember the the pride I felt when my baby sister wore the very first pair of bootees I knitted for her.
And what can I say, I was hooked - knitting became an obsession, especially when my sons were young. Sadly, as the boys grew and the pressures of a full time career took over my life, knitting fell by the wayside.
Early last year came the announcement of the imminent arrival of our first Granddaughter and I instinctively sort out my needles and patterns (yes! I had kept them all) and I haven't put them down since.
What I'd like to do on this blog is to share my knitting successes, build an e-book of patterns (many of them FREE) and offer tips and advice.
If you would like to share your successes and experience of suppliers etc., your input would be very welcome.
